6th Grade students from St. Gabriel the Archangel School attended camp at Living Well Village. The Camp's great outdoors became the classroom during their two-day experience. Students did team building activities that form the beginning of the Grade 6-8 program.
Students participated in activities to build confidence, trust, communication skills and more. Wall climbing is one of the favorites among the many classes that have attended camp. The students also had an activity with aquatic ecology. This connects with the school's science curriculum of learning about the water cycle and the importance of an eco-friendly world. (See pictures in sidebar.)
It is a time of team building and skill building - Twenty-first Century skills for their future in school and career.
